Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress who is best famous for her character of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. The actress received critical acclaim for her role as Eleni Anderson Cooper in her first television role on CBS' soap show Guiding Light. Some of her notable films are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly making a film adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the pair that wrote the film Immortals. Additionally, she's making a show titled Gods & Heroes.
